Zazie Beetz is a German-American actress well known for her role in the TV series ‘Atlanta’ and her character ‘Domino’ in the film ‘Deadpool 2’. The actress has received award nominations for her work in film and TV series.
Zazie was born in Berlin, Germany, and raised in Manhattan, New York, she spoke German and English at home. Her father is German and her mother is African-American. In addition to German, her native language, and English, she can speak fluent French after getting a bachelor’s degree in the French language.
Zazie had a minor role in the 2015 indie film hit James White (2015). Zazie was nominated for the 2018 Emmy Award in the Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series category for her role as Van in Atlanta (2016) but lost to Alex Borstein from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017).
